Tripp draws on over 16 years of performing arts experience which includes 10 years as a member of the professional actor’s union, Actors Equity Association. As an actor,Tripp worked around the country in multiple productions including Best Little Whorehouse with Sally Struthers, the National Tour of 42nd Street with Loretta Swit, State Fair starring John Davidson, and the first national tour of Irvin Berlin’s White Christmas. Tripp has owned and operated a non - arts company, SMARTBOX of Los Angeles, since November 2015 and has been in Senior Management positions since 2010 including serving as Senior Managing Editor for CORE Education, a cutting - edge educational publishing company. Imaginary Theatricals is Tripp's opportunity to combine his love for the arts as well as his business acumen.
Marie is an ever-resilient strategist and pragmatist, with a penchant for technology, design and project management. Perpetually fascinated by the behind-the-scenes technologies that organizations use to realize their creations, Marie started consulting with various nonprofits in 2012. Marie joined the Imaginary Theatricals as the Managing Director, but with much of the revolving duties concentrating on technology, she changed her role to the Web Manager. As the resident techy of Imaginary Theatricals, Marie focuses on solving all the technology-focused issues, maintaining the website and databases.
Lauren is a programming and content producer with a passion for thoughtful storytelling and diversifying the audiences she serves. With a background in journalism and a lifelong interest in the arts, she is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Arts Management at Sotheby’s Institute of Art at Claremont Graduate University. Previously, Lauren served as the Managing Producer of the Computer History Museum’s CHM Live lecture series, where she brought tech luminaries such as Jack Dorsey and Bozoma Saint John to the museum. Lauren is a former Bloomberg Television producer and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from the University of Southern California.
Cobi is an arts manager focused on the visual arts and emerging artists. Cobi has recently relocated to Los Angeles from Tel Aviv, Israel to join the Master's Degree in Arts Management at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art at Claremont Graduate University. Prior to his move, he was working as an artistic advisor working primarily with artists active in the urban space and managed an art tour company. Cobi offers a fresh look at the arts ecosystem though hands-on experiences with both audience and artists. His look is informed by deep knowledge of contemporary arts and economic understanding, all within an international context. Joining Imaginary Theatricals is an exciting setting to explore the intersections between visual and performing arts and to contribute to multidisciplinary arts and culture experiences in Los Angeles.
